Great and Small has worked with several area schools to develop horsemanship and riding experiences customized to the needs and goals of their students. The benefits of therapeutic riding do not have to be limited to the after-school hours. While learning about horses and riding, students are also practicing teamwork, strengthening their bodies, gaining confidence, and learning to try new things.
Here are some of the organizations we have worked with:
- Quince Orchard High School
- Sherwood High School
- Gaithersburg High School
- Lakelands Middle School
- Montgomery Village Middle School
- Clopper Mill Elementary School
- The Auburn School
- The Ivymount School
- National Academy Foundation
- Head Injury Rehabilitation & Referral Services
